# Feedback & Corrections

> Report a correction or evidence concern anonymously, or submit a professional review opinion privately. How feedback is moderated and published.

## What happens after you send

Submissions enter a private moderation queue and move through recorded states — received, triaged, accepted or rejected, implemented, published — each with a timestamp and, for rejections, an editorial rationale. Accepted material changes are published in the [Corrections & Expert Reviews log](/corrections/) with the affected page, outcome, and rationale. Rejected professional feedback is still recorded there in minimized form — disagreements are not hidden.

## What we collect and how long we keep it

The base form collects the affected page, a category, your description, and an optional name and reply email. You may submit entirely anonymously. We use this information only to evaluate and act on the report.

Contact details (name, reply email) and professional verification material are deleted 90 days after your submission is resolved. A minimized editorial decision record is kept so outcomes remain auditable. Network addresses are used transiently for abuse prevention and are never stored with your feedback.

## Professional review opinions

If you are a veterinary or animal-science professional, the form collects your profession, credentials, affiliation, a verification route, and your review scope. Your name and credentials are published only after we verify your identity and you give explicit consent — both are separate choices on the form. Without consent, any published decision record describes the input without identifying you.
